We want everyone to be able to use this website.

Our commitment

Harjivandas Nemidas Securities Pvt. Ltd. wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, magnification or high contrast. We are aiming for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0, as required by SEBI's digital accessibility circulars and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Where we stand

This website was rebuilt in October 2026 against that standard. We test it with automated checks (axe-core and an HTML validator) on every page in the standard and high-contrast display modes, and we test keyboard operation, zoom and text spacing. The site always stays white, even when a device is set to a dark theme. An independent re-audit of the rebuilt website has been requested. This statement will be updated with the result and its date once that audit is complete.

Earlier independent audit: report F-56A-001, by Uttam Bagri (IAAP CPACC, certificate NDCPACC13395). The issues it raised were used to design this rebuild.

What we built in

  • A skip link and consistent navigation, with landmarks and one h1 on every page.
  • No moving, scrolling or auto-updating content. Nothing starts on its own.
  • All text is real text, never part of an image. Every illustration has a text alternative.
  • Links are always underlined as well as coloured. Colour contrast meets 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for controls.
  • Forms have visible labels, required-field markers, error messages linked to fields, and screen-reader announcements for results.
  • Display settings for text size, text spacing and high contrast, remembered between visits. Your browser's own zoom, text size and dark mode also work.
  • Pages reflow to a single column at a width of 320 pixels.

Known limitations

  • The KYC form (PDF) is a long print-and-sign form that is not yet tagged for screen readers. An accessible alternative is available on request.
  • The scanned original of the Rights and Obligations document (PDF) has a searchable text layer added, and its full text is on the Rights and Obligations page.
  • The two press articles on the In the media page are scans of printed pages. Their key points are written out in text on that page.
  • Some PDFs issued by SEBI and the exchanges are published as received and may not be tagged for screen readers. The full text of each is on a page of this website, and the list of documents says where.
  • Pages on other websites that we link to, such as NSE, BSE, SEBI SCORES, SMART ODR, NSDL and CDSL, are run by those organisations and have their own accessibility.
